Home Farm Series
In addition to the tractors and implements that you can find in the shop, BritainsFarm has a large number of older Britains models in stock. It concerns the models from the Home Farm Series that Britains has made from 1930 to 1950.

These horse-drawn vehicles are not in the shop. Because these are relatively fragile and expensive models, they are preferably not sent bij mail. Because of the age –most models were prewar – there are often small dents and chips. For these reasons, BritainsFarm would prefer that these models are seen and retrieved from here.

It concerns, for example, the so-called Tumbrel Cart (4F) a small cart with a horse and a carter. The cart can be cloaked. Britains produced this model in, among others, the colors green, blue, and yellow.

The Britains Farm Waggon (5F) is larger than the Tumbrel Cart and is drawn by two horses. Britains made it in multiple colors and color variations. The most common is the green and the blue (in light and dark) version. But there is also a pale and a yellow variant released. After the second world war, a number of these Farm Waggons came with plastic horses; which is a rare variation. As of the Tumbrel Cart, BritainsFarm has multiple Farm Waggons in stock; both with and without a box. For a Farm Waggon in box must be paid about € 225,-.

To plough the land, Britains has released two sets of plough sets. The General Purpose Plough with one horse (142F) and the General Purpose Plough with two horses (6F). This model (6F) was also released in a flat scroll box, that BritainsFarm at the moment, however, has not in stock. Suppose you're looking for it, you can, of course, let us know.

To create a nice Britains scene, one must have the so-called Britains Tree and Gate (7F). A fence that is hung on a tree in a beautiful old box before second world war.

BritainsFarm also has multiple copies of the Britains Horse Rake (8F) and of the Horse Roller (9F) in stock.

A marvellous piece is the Britains Timber Carriage with two horses (12F). It is an in length adjustable trailer with a beam tree. BritainsFarm doesn’t have it in stock all the time, but does so at the moment and the price is approximately € 250,-.

On Sundays (to go to Church) or when the farmer and his wife go to a party, the Britains-farmer uses the Farmer's Gig (20F). A beautiful but also vulnerable and rare piece. There are two versions of the model; before second world war and the model afterwards. The difference is to see to a holder of the whip in the post-war model.

The horses were at some point, replaced by tractors. The first was the Fordson Major tractor; one with metal wheels (127F) and one with rubber wheels (128F). It has been available for quite a long time (1948-1958). BritainsFarm has some of these in the shop. If you want more information about them, of course, you can send an e-mail. Later (from 1959) the Fordson Power Major and (as of 1961) the Fordson Super Major appeared in the catalog. The difference can be seen on the integrated headlights in the Super Major and the headlights on the side with the Power Major. These are all rare models and models in box are hard to find and expensive. In particular, the Fordson New Performance Major (the yellow industrial version) with dumper in box (9630) is one of the rarest Britains models.
